ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION: Criminal Justice Instructor

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree or working toward degree; meet requirements to qualify for a Provisional I teaching certificate (minimum); working toward Standard Certification.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in law enforcement or related area is required; CLEET certification is required. Degree in Law Enforcement preferred. Willing to serve as a campus resource officer.

Applicants must have the ability to teach in personalized or small groups; preferred experience working with high school students; ability to maintain good communications and work cooperatively with all co-workers and administrative staff; ability to lead initiatives, work well with others, and attend to several tasks simultaneously. Provide instruction, curriculum, classroom management, and placement relating to instruction and student outcomes in the law enforcement field. Provide students with basic skills and information for employment at the entry level.
