Linda Jo Farmer Clinton

Linda Jo Farmer Clinton, 72 of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma, passed away on December 22, 1921 at Carnegie Nursing Home in Carnegie, Oklahoma, after a short battle with cancer. Linda was born on November 1, 1949, to Leo and Wanda (Miller) Slater. Linda grew up in and attended Carnegie Schools. Linda married Dennis Farmer and moved to Fort Cobb, and from this union they had three sons. Linda was a cook for Fort Cobb-Broxton Schools, Fort Cobb Senior Citizens Center, and was co-owner of C&L Restaurant. Linda was an amazing mother, grandmother and cook. Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew her, especially her boys, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her children: Darren Farmer of Anadarko, OK, Brandon Farmer of Fort Cobb, OK, and Tyson & Mandy Farmer of Fort Cobb, OK; her grandchildren: Ashley Clift of Fort Cobb Taylor and Brody Hajj of Fort Cobb; Trevor Cumins of Chickasha; and great-grandchildren:

Harper and Hayden Hajj of Fort Cobb; Braylon Clift of Fort Cobb, Holland Farmer of Fort Cobb.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents: Wanda, Leo, Harold and Ralph; brothers, Ronnie and Roger Slater and sister, Loretta Landes.

A memorial s was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the Fort Cobb Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Cobb, OK. Jarred Pettijohn officiated the event.

A private family burial will be at a later date.

Services were under the direction of Fort Cobb Funeral Home, Fort Cobb, OK.
