Carson Burd of Lawton held an enormous lead when runners took off in the 2019 Wildcat Turkey Trot 5K that began at the high school football stadium Saturday morning.

Retired Sergeant First Class, Michael Nestell, United States Army, was guest speaker at the community's Veterans Day assembly held Monday. Nestell is a 1997 graduate of Carnegie High School.
